View Field Tracking

Field Tracking allows addition of customer field information such as Fields, Field Cycles and in the Documents section, any field map or soil analysis. The Field Actions section will populate automatically as Fields are referenced in Orders and Batches or can be manually added.

Use on the Customer Detail Screen to access Field Tracking.

 

Add a Field, Cycle or Field Action

Select the Add button at the bottom of the window to access the drop down list of available options. Be aware that information added to Field Tracking can not be edited and only a checked Field or checked Cycle can be deleted.

 

Add a Field

Select Field from the Add drop down list and complete the New Field information.

Enter up to 20 alpha-numeric characters for the Field ID.

Description allows for up to 30 alpha-numeric characters.

Provide the Size/Acres of the Field.

The Location entered can be the GPS coordinates.

Enter any Government ID needed.

Click OK to save the Field.

 

Add a Field Cycle

Select Cycle from the Add drop down list to create a new Cycle.

Enter in a unique Cycle ID of up to 10 alpha-numeric characters.

Choose a Field by entering the Field ID or select F12 to search.

Use the available drop down calendar to select the date Planted and Harvested or enter using the mm/dd/yy date format.

Record the typical Yield for the Field selected.

Click OK to save the Field Cycle.

 

Add a Field Actions

Field Actions are populated using two methods, manually or automatically as fields are referenced in Orders and Batches.

To manually enter a Field Action, start by selecting Field Action from the Add drop down list.

Select the Field by entering the Field ID or use F12 to search.

Enter a Date by selecting from the drop down calendar or enter using the mm/dd/yy date format. This field also records time using the 24 hour clock.

Indicate the Weather conditions for the date.

Enter Fertilizer Applied and the Fertilizer Application Rate.

If any chemical was also applied, indicate the Item in Chemical Applied and the Chemical App Rate.

If the Customer does not hold a Restricted Chemical License, enter the Applicator ID or select F12, and choose the applicator responsible for handling any Chemical Applied.

Click the OK button to post to the grid which receives a system assigned Action ID.

 

When a Field is selected on an Order or Batch, the Field Actions grid populates automatically with the information above.

 

Field Documents

Field Documents can be added using Process Field Documents or Process Digidocs Field Documents found on the AR > Documents menu. These documents can be field maps or soil analysis. Users must be granted access to add Field Documents in Merchant Ag FIN > Admin > Access User Profiles > select a user profile > Security tab > Accounts Receivable module > Menu Security > Documents section > and grant access to Process Field Documents and/or Process DigiDocs Field docs.

To view documents attached to a field, highlight the document and click the View Document Button.

Reports

Select to generate a Field Activity report.

Generate this report for all Fields or focus on one or multiple by selecting the checkbox to the left of the Field ID.

Group the information on the produced report by selecting Group By Cycle.

Filter the report to Only Show Fertilizer Activity by choosing this option.

Select Preview to view the report onscreen.

Select Print to send the report directly to the default printer.

 

Fertilizer Invoices can be reviewed for Field Actions that populate automatically through Orders and Batches by selecting .
